A couple of songs I can't unstick from my head. Nothing too thought provoking, just fun music.
Pumped Up Kicks by Foster the People.
I had the privilege of seeing this band at the Echo in Echo Park. Every song they played was totally catchy and fun. Band members were super nice. Can't wait to see them at Coachella.
Heartbeats by The Knife.
This song is, apparently, not at all new, but I just found it. Can't figure out where I heard it initially (probably KCRW), but ended up one night at 3am going through a UCLA law student's AppleTV playlist and found it there.
Black and Blue by Miike Snow.
Another one that I'm last on the bandwagon to find. Not mainstream, totally excellent.
